Baiona, April 30, 2015.- This Friday, May Day, the thirty-eighth edition of the Repsol Trophy, organized by the Monte Real Yacht Club, begins in Baiona.
The boats participating in the competition will depart at one in the afternoon from the bay of Baiona towards the Pontevedra estuary, in a crossing regatta that will end in Sanxenxo with the awarding of prizes to the winners of the stage at the Real Club Náutico de the location.
The Repsol Trophy continues over the weekend. On Saturday the sailboats will have to complete the distance that separates Sanxenxo from Baiona, and on Sunday they will fight for victory at the Cíes Islands anchorage, where several windward-leeward courses will be set.
