The monthly supplement ABC de la Náutica has been awarded this year with the Mariano Aguado Communication Award from the Terras Gauda National Sailing Awards for the dissemination, for more than a decade, of the main news related to sailing produced in Spain. .
Created in April 2006 by the doyen of the Spanish nautical press, Pedro Sardina, ABC de la Náutica has not missed a single month since its appointment with newsstands.
It has also done so by staying true to the goal with which it was born, that of reporting and analyzing everything that happens in the world of sailing in Spain from a strictly sporting point of view. And all this, reaching the more than two million seven hundred thousand readers of the paper version of ABC and the more than 40,000 people who download the digital version of the supplement every month.
For all these reasons, the jury of the Terras Gauda National Sailing Awards has decided to grant ABC de la Náutica an award that Pedro Sardina himself will be in charge of collecting next September 2 in Baiona.
An award that will also be a recognition of the figure of this journalist from Madrid, holder of the Naval Merit Medal with a white badge and a professional experience of more than 42 years, in which the coverage of 7 Olympic Games, 11 American’s Cup , 11 World Tours, 35 King’s Cups and 22 Prince of Asturias Trophies, among many others.
