Prince of Asturias Trophy 2016

In 2016, the Monte Real Club de Yates organized a new edition of its most important sporting competition, the PRÍNCIPE DE ASTURIAS TROPHY, which has been held continuously since 1986.

Thirty-one years after that first edition, in which the then heir to the throne, Don Felipe de Borbón, participated, the trophy was once again held in the waters of the Bay of Baiona on September 2, 3 and 4, 2016 .
Among other tests, it included the HELLO! Ladies Cup, a unique competition in Spain that brought together the best female crews.
Within the framework of the Prince of Asturias Trophy, the Terras Gauda National Sailing Awards were once again awarded.
