Atlantic Galician Spirits and the Monte Real Club de Yates de Bayona have just reached an agreement whereby Nordés Atlantic gin, the first and only one made and distilled in Galicia, with 100% Galician products, will be the official gin at the events of the baion club.
A series of common values such as professionalism, ethics or excellence and a desire to promote the image of Galicia beyond our borders are some of the aspects that have led to this collaboration agreement.
Tradition and modernity thus come together, a club with years of history and a gin that, despite its youth on the market, has already broken numerous records. With just one year of life, in 2013 Nordés became the most valued gin in Spain according to the specialists of www.ginebras.net , one of the reference pages in the sector.
After breaking into the Spanish market with force, Nordés is currently successfully exported to a dozen countries on four continents, and is also the third best-selling gin in Portugal.
Part of its success is due, according to its producers, to its peculiar characteristics, which differentiate it in the gin market in Spain. Nordés uses Albariño wine and a selection of Galician herbs as an alcoholic base, including lemon verbena, laurel, toxo or caralleira herb. Also salicornia (a marine plant), juniper, cardamom, quinine, ginger, hibiscus, licorice, lemon peel or tea, among others.
Defined by its producers as an Atlantic Galician Gin -Galician Atlantic gin-, Nordés is macerated and distilled slowly and calmly, following traditional methods. It has an alcohol volume of 40 percent and is presented in a 70 cl bottle. wide body and white, in which Galicia is once again the protagonist, standing out on a world map over the rest of the countries.
Thanks to the collaboration agreement signed between Atlantic Galician Spirits (Nordés gin, Nordés vozka and Nordesía vermús) and the Monte Real Club de Yates de Bayona, in all the events that are organized in the Bayonne club during the summer months there will be gin tasting Nordese.
