The Monte Real Yacht Club is located in the Monterreal peninsula, in Baiona Bay, only 5 miles away from the Cíes Islands’ archipelago. It is located in the southern part of the Rías Baixas, at the very end of the ría de Vigo and very close to the portuguese border. It is one of the best-known maritime locations in Spain and constitutes a reference point for vessels in transit with more than 2,000 annual visits.

There is a regular line between Baiona and the bus station in Vigo offered by the company ATSA (+34) 986 610 255 with several daily services in both directions.
It is recommended to travel until the bus station in Vigo in order to get the next connection. Contact them on the phone number (+34) 986 37 34 11 in order to get information on the different connections with other destinations.
To access Baiona Bay, it is recommended to take the canal between Serraleiras and Cape Silleiro, both signalized. There are other entrance canals which are not signalized which require a good knowledge of the area.
Once the Eastern part of the “A Doca” dock has been reached, you should back starboard in order to get to our facilities. We recommend sailors who visit us to contact with the ship’s crew through channel 71 or 9 VHF in order to ask for a mooring place and help for docking.
